Nasreen is a 29-year-old young woman and mother of 8 children. Her life of pain and struggle began early when her husband moved to work in European countries but failed to secure a stable income to support his family, leaving Nasreen to bear the responsibility of 8 individuals alone. Nasreen lives in the Al-Bared neighborhood, south of the Gaza Strip, one of the poorest and most devastated areas in the world. In a miserable home that provides no protection from the cold or heat, she lives with her children in extreme poverty.
She supports them through the generosity of kind people and neighbors and resorts to working by breaking stones and selling aluminum to meet a small part of her children's needs.

Nasreen greeted us with a smile that concealed much pain, saying: 'I endure the bitterness of life with my children and dream of a simple life better than the reality I live in.' When we asked her how she provides food for her children, she replied: 'I work for my children in anything, but I cannot provide enough food for them, and there are days when I cannot find any food to satisfy their hunger.' She added sarcastically: 'And of course, we never buy meat.'

Nasreen mentioned: 'Kind people remember us during Eid al-Adha and provide us with meat that lasts for three days, and this is the only time I cook meat for my children.'
The weak physical condition of her children was very evident due to malnutrition. Nasreen commented: 'My children do not regularly consume meat, so it is natural for them to be in this condition.'
This family expressed their joy with this simple help, and Nasreen concluded her talk by saying: 'We always pray to God for those who provide us with assistance and fresh meat during Eid.' This was the role of the Unlimited Friends Association for Community Development Association for Community Development, with the help of Bait Al-Mal, in bringing this joy to hearts exhausted by fatigue and sorrow.
